Sorry to hear of this, though I'm not surprised. However, I am amazed they do manage to hatch as kicking your way out of the shell takes a lot of energy and effort. Well, at least you gave her a chance.

And we have another hen sitting on duck eggs. (She's a biter, no sense trying to take them) so I can look forward to that as well. Both the remaing chicks still are healthy and seem normal.
