If you look at your duck, he too has a feather sticking up right at the end of his hind feathers.

Thay are loads smaller than the Muscovy, maybe the camera angle making them look big, but are they Mallard colours ?They look a bit big to be mallards
I rescued them out of a small box cage behind a dirty shop in Nicosia. There were 4 but one died. They are very happy now and very vocal, interesting little characters.They look like mixed to me very pretty mixes.
