We have noticed everything is acting different now. Really would like to give 3 of our 5 mallard drakes to someone who would take care of them. Unfortunately we don't know how to catch them. I'm sure we'll figure out a way, being this morning we now have 6 mallard eggs. I've read how the drakes will kill baby ducks no matter what breed they are, is that true?
Here are a few pics I have on my cell phone of all our ducks...sorry, some images are of a picture of my digital camera viewer screen, wood ducks don't let us get too close

Not sure if all the pics loaded properly...
Will take more today
Where are you located? Only one picture uploaded. I don't know about drakes attacking ducklings, I suppose some do and some don't. Just keep a close eye on them.

the others our very late. I well give tell Sunday and put them to rest. We got the ok from neighbor on a ant issue to put traps down. On her side of the wall bug killer and weed killer. So maybe next hatch will look better
Those don't look like mallards.
although they are very beautiful ducks.

The girls gray and white and white or Swedish mix but I showed the girl because of egg issues I am concerned with.
