I just helped one that pipped in the pointy end, he is the first this season, 36 hours ago he started to pip(was on day 26) i noticed he can breath so i was just waiting since they can stay without eating or drinking for 48 hours, after 36 hours i decided to help, he just bleed a little and i can see he is fine now in the bator.

Can you take a picture that shows the blood?

No, it was only about a quarter inch of torn membrane and I put cornstarch on it right away. I am going to put some Neosporin on the dry membrane when I get it out next time. I am trying to take my time and not rush the process so it has time to absorb the blood from the membrane and the egg yolk.
