Yeah, I had to keep checking the edges and under the "feet" of it. They wedge themselves in the darnedest places.I know they were hating me, I was looking in there and pulling them out so often to count them.. Maybe they committed suicide to get away from me.

That part all worked fine. The space below the block was my problem. I have fixed it so (knock on wood) nothing will happen again. Also I should let you know the chicks were just a day old. I removed them a day early from the hatcher because of a cripple I was trying to save. (splayed leg). I did not want them pecking at her. ALso if I had a larger breed it may not have happened. my Cream Legbars are pretty small at a day.
