Mama Heating Pad in the Brooder (Picture Heavy) - UPDATE

Here is the latest from Blooie:

Totally flunked my stress test....well, gee! Getting up at 3 am and waking up hubby to drive me to the ER, then a 100 mile ride in an ambulance to Billings wasn't good enough stress for them? It sure was for me!

Scheduled for a heart cath on Monday, and will probably get my first set of "above the navel" stents. Got 4 sets below the navel so at least now I'll be balanced.

This really stinks. Hear on Tuesday that I've got Congestive Heart failure and have a mild heart attack in the middle of the night on Friday. But this too, shall pass. I changed my stupid password on BYC for some dumb reason and between the nitro and the morphine I can't remember what it is. But no morphine today, so I'll try to reconstruct it. Glad I didn't touch this one. Anyway, I'll be up for a few more days. Monday's the cath so the earliest I"ll be home is Tuesday. Thanks for the prayers. Love you all!
Oh wow..... she's been thru this before...never heard of stents below the navel.
Wishing her the best possible experience, outcome, and prognosis.

Positivity is a good way to cope. Keep your head up. Because it makes it easier to hold your nose, so you can eat that hospital food. Even if it's only broth or green jello. Sending more prayers your way.

Wow... I just "stumbled upon" this thread and saw the news about Blooie. (Really, I don't believe in coincidence) Anyway, for those of you in contact with her, please let her know that there's one more person out there praying for her!

Blooie - when you remember your password and see all these well-wishes and prayers, you will know that there are many of us out here pulling for you. Feel better soon!

Prayers for Blooie.

I got lambasted with a migraine the likes of which I've never had yesterday.  Still with me this morning, I am a bit loopy/weak/vision still off a bit.  Plan to lay low all weekend, and let hubby baby me.

:hugs from one migraine sufferer to another, feel better. Had one all day yesterday, sheesh.

@TexasLisa Thanks for the update on Blooie. Sounds like she is keeping her sense of humor about her, I would expect nothing less.

and the cutness of all dem feet under neath when the hen is out foraging....

deb

I never saw that. When she was out foraging so were they. It may have happened that there were times a chick or two were under her as she moved, I wasn't out with them much. The beauty of having a broody watch over them. But I had to coax her to bring them out of the barn when they are about 1.5 weeks old. BOSS is so helpful

So sorry to hear it LG, I know that story! Do you get them often enough to have Replax on hand? DD1 hits that when she gets an "on top" migraine over her permanent one. You have to be pretty fast with it though as soon as you realize what is happening. But she isn't supposed to take it more than twice a week.
