I guess when there is only one big one she has to make nice or else she won’t have any friends ... mine are still harassing the middles but it’s just something they are all gonna have to live with and figure out... and realize that no one is going anywhere.. except for maybe Kathryn... I almost want to rehome her than bother with putting her back in with everyone... it’s been nice without her around! And I have a feeling when I do put her back she is gonna come back with a vengeance .... And I have noticed a few of them squaring off against Nilky through the fence! I swear if one of em gives her a hard time when I integrate her and the babies.. Ima be in there swingin!! ... and then I have to do it all again in a few more months .... Lord help me!

Cajun will still pull or peck hard at them now and then but she's a little more chill then before. I'm just sad I don't have more egg layers righr now! So many orders and not enough birds!

I get it... rehoming is hard but sometimes has to be done. And every time Cajun pecks at Charred i have to really hold myself back!!

On happy note... Bbq is getting close to her point of lay !!! Maybe at end of june... exciting to find out what she'll lay!

Yes for another week and then we'll see.

My husband almost had to go to LA for work... i told him if he goes i wanna go too! But his boss went instead... bummer!

We're not rehoming for another 6 weeks so they have plenty of time with mom..

My BBQ at about 40 secs starts her funny crow she does...

Everyone got to go dig in the very wet grass this evening! They had fun i sat and watched. Got some awesome nesting boxes!!! Guy takes old wood he finds and makes them two nests each one. One on either side of coop.

They love em!

Everyone is getting so big!

I picked Bbq up... totally put out by it!

Everyone got to go dig in the very wet grass this evening! They had fun i sat and watched. Got some awesome nesting boxes!!! Guy takes old wood he finds and makes them two nests each one. One on either side of coop. View attachment 1772197View attachment 1772204

They sure are funny! I love watching them all out in the grass right now .. everything is scary and new but so fun! Haha!!
