I still think its awesome that people tape their cracked eggs and get them to develop. I never would have guessed! I will definitely keep my fingers crossed!

Sat nights are 'my night'....which usually means I stay up super late and do whatever I want. I've got some researchin to do and a couple paintings i've been putting on hold I might play around with. So, if ya need some conversation, I'll be around

Waiting for hatches can be tedious

and thanks for reminding me to change my clocks...I would have forgotten

One is almost out now! The others seem to be resting right now. Should be at least 5 by morning!! That's it, gotta build a cabinet bator!

Its making me impatient for my next batch to hatch...still a couple weeks away...but I've got those chicks coming this next week to tide me over

Totally understand. I know you're not

, but I'm an addict. After I'm done with this hatch, I have a batch 24 Ameraucana eggs that will hit day 18 on the 17th. I already can't wait.

Then I have more Ameraucana eggs coming next week with a few Marans that have found there way into the mix.

I do love spring and all the babies! I also love seeing happy customers when they meet their younguns for the first time. I also really love the prospects of getting some quality birds grown out for my breeding programs and providing food for my family from the culls. I guess I love the whole process really. I love simplicity and finding joy in it.
