Thanks poularde and galavina I think she is about 5 1/2 weeks now. She is from that first batch of birchen eggs that only one hatched from. So far she is solid blue. She is really light blue so I hope the silver shows up good on her when it happens lol. She is such a sweetie wants to snuggle right up under your chin when you pick her up.

I use silver colored pencil on the dark eggs. It shows up pretty good.

Caught another wanna-be broody BCM hiding some dirty birdy eggs behind the coop. One was broke but she was still sitting on them. Haha I snagged them from her. She is mad!

Wow FLGirl, those are some DARK eggs!!

My best are deep terra cotta red-brown and occasionally a med. dark brown but not like those! Wanna send me some hens?

Nope I'm not hatching these, they are from the laying pen lol. I am still not done with my breeding pens because dh stopped working on them to fiddle with my son's old vw bus grrrrr.
On the breeding coops, he has the floor and part of the frame and most of the nest boxes done on a 6-coop set-up. I guess I need to go and try and finish it myself. I am bad with tools and stuff though, like as in clumsy. I cut my right pinky half off once and had to get it reattached LOL!
