It just dawned on me why Pip is on the front porch. I think he is watching the TV!

I just caught him standing at the door cocking his head, listening to this woman on TV talking. He is such a quirky guy, worthless, but quirky. He does come a runnin' though when I call him, like a dog!

I've posted wanted posters of him around the property offering a reward....but so far, no one has come to town to talk with the Marshall.

It's really odd tho about this Roo that Pinkchick got from me.....I'll tell ya' why....

I got 3 little olive egger chicks

from her early last spring. Like I have bragged so much all year, I did not lose a single bird from all those that I got from Pinkchick as babies.

For peace of mind (

after losing all my Royal Palm turkeys to a coon last year

) I built this new coop that is so tight that a mouse would have to "squeek" to get in or out. I even put netting over the top and fastened it down securely.
Then, one day just a couple weeks ago, I look out there and I only have 2 olive eggers! what!!!!

Where is my 2nd O.E. hen?

No feathers. No holes anywhere. Even if she did get out she would have stayed close to the flock....

I have a machinist friend who makes "decorative" stills! We could make a "Still to Slightly Straighten Silly Sausage Mel" fund. Ten bucks and we could have him ummmm "looking" at the pretty still.....
