Debbi, have you ever wondered why most of the time we get a really nice bird it will have a DQ ? The only thing that can be done is single mate and cull everything with a DQ and even major Faults.

Oh Don, I'm not doubting the expertise of either you or Walt. I just can't grasp the concept of what the problems would be with the BCMs resulting from a blue breeding, IF they were a quality mating. Is it the dilution factor, or the fact that you should know what's behind both lines, or varities before breeding? All I'm saying is, with all the problems I've had with the BCMs, I was actually hoping for help from the Blue Coppers! I've seen more quality coming from the blues than I have from the blacks on a steady basis. It probably won't hurt me either way in the long run, as I am more interested in the blues, and aim towards that goal. I do appreciate the input from both you and Walt, I'm just not grasping the "why" of it. Maybe it's just me...I'm old, slow, and lazy!

I agree Don. I may be coming to that point here very quickly. I was so disgusted the other day, I could've sold them all! That is except for Roy and Clyde! I love those guys!

By the time fall rolls around, I may very well be down to 4 birds...

You're putting her in a box and shipping her to me first thing tomorrow morning, right?
