I am seeking some dark egged Cuckoos. Feather legs are preferred. Adults (either or both sexes), chicks, or eggs. I have one hen indirectly from Ron Presley's line, and I need some more to go with her!

I would also be interested in SOLID black Marans, again, feather legged and dark eggs.

Kindly message me if you have any for sale.

Thanks. Call me dim, but that chart of hers refers to a dark egg roo x a blue egged hen. Would it work the other way around?? Blue egged roo x BCM hen?? It may not matter, I just listed all my pullets for sale as Marans crosses!

I hope you are able to sell them quickly debbi! That way you don't have to see those combs everyday. and you will have made room for new wee ones to add to your place! been working out on paper my spring line up so far. makin me realize i still have lots of culling to do

Everyone on the thread says either way. May have been simpler in her chart since she didn't use roo or hen in her chart it is just implied. Someone just asked for clarification of the chart so I will update you if I find out different.

You got that right Vicki! I lterally get ill looking at them, and it's not fair as they are so sweet. Not their fault their idiot owner didn't know or couldn't see the problem pre-matings. Talk about idiots; this morning I thought it was time for Clyde to take a stroll outside. He has been staying in the run with the youngins' and the girls that don't care to go out with the marauding terrorist-roos.

So, I kept Roy in today, and let Clyde out.

You would've thought that he was a fresh on the farm roo with the way the other roos treated him! Talk about an exciting morning...before my cup of Joe. Mind you, he's not been hidden from the others, only a welded wire fence between them all this time, and they all acted like they'd never sen him before. Dumbarses!! Needless to say, big old Clyde kicked some serious young butts in a matter of moments! Looked like a Chuck Norris movie!!

Clyde won, all was well for the rest of the day.

Oh hell no! I live in Podunk, USA.

There was a neighbor right up the way that had some I never got to see. I talked to her mom the other day, a neighbor but not a close personal friend mind you, and she said her daughter got rid of all of hers. Evidently she didn't have any luck either, and now I will never know what she had..

So, it's looking like a brand new start here, cept for the dark boys. Wynette, you still owe me a dozen, so maybe I can start there?? In the long run, I want Blue Coppers, but at this point, I will be looking at anything without DQs, and of a nice, chunky type!
