had an internet hiccup....garg. Aren't chickens way better entertainment than anything on TV? glad he showed them who was boss!
So, gonna start over with hatching eggs or do ya have someone not too far from you that you can get stock from?
Oh hell no! I live in Podunk, USA.
There was a neighbor right up the way that had some I never got to see. I talked to her mom the other day, a neighbor but not a close personal friend mind you, and she said her daughter got rid of all of hers. Evidently she didn't have any luck either, and now I will never know what she had..
So, it's looking like a brand new start here, cept for the dark boys. Wynette, you still owe me a dozen, so maybe I can start there?? In the long run, I want Blue Coppers, but at this point, I will be looking at anything without DQs, and of a nice, chunky type!
chunky is the best to have! I hope you are able to find some good ones out there. I'm realizing I've somehow lucked out with not having to deal with some of the things people have talked about on here....but then again...I am working with the birchens....and they are a giant mess all in themselves. If I had massive problems in all my other colors too I don't think I'd be able to keep going. I still have plenty of work to do in all the colors...but I really am hoping this next year will be a good one for moving forward.
