Speaking of killing, neighbor, I had a chicken hawk grab one of delaware pullets today. We saw it and I think we saved it. She may end up with some hearing damage, but I think she will survive. It is the first time in two years that I have had an issue with flying predators. I've been baiting a trap for the last few weeks for a fox, some wild cats, and other misc. land predators...... BUT the flying ones are new trouble for me.

My birds were out in their day pen that lacks a top..... OR it did lack a top until tonight!

I know there was 2 pictures I saw of him and they were holding him both times.

Maybe they will post more pictures later I know lots have been bugging them too.

Notice the sign in the background of the picture. They spelled marans wrong.
