yeah...the hard part with ebay is that the feedback is only related to the shipping process and eggs actually arriving in good shape and the number they advertised etc, but really has nothing to do with the quality of hatch nor the quality or genetics of the birds themselves. If people are unaware when they bid what the combs, color, bird, or etc should look like..it just spreads the problems in the long run. Does that make any sense?

Feedback means they were shipped on time, and didn't arrive broken.
You actually aren't supposed to bring up if some didn't hatch, or even if they are ugly mutts.
You got 12 unbroken eggs within a couple days? 100%!

Yea. that's not much of a Roo.....I see that there is a link to "Report This Seller" but you must have an E-bay account to activate it and I don't have one. Somebody should let the folks at E-bay know what this character is doing and how they are using the Bev Davis name to add unwarranted appeal to their product....

I guess it could be worse....they could be using a picture of a perfect SOP bird in the ad and be shipping bad eggs....

Anybody that buys based on that ad likely would be happy if the correct number of eggs arrive unbroken. They obviously don't really know Marans. Furthermore, when I've had a bad experience on eBay I don't give negative feedback because that means they give me negative feedback so I just don't respond at all. In other words, eBay feedback is meaningless!

It seems that it has only been a few days since anyone on here would admit that they had ever raised a Marans with the Carnation Comb. If anyone has raised more than a few Marans you have had one show up with Carnation Comb.

I would like to know how anyone knows that this is not out of Bev Davis Bloodlines. Everyone else has some of these so I am sure she has them also. Not a knock on anyone , just stating a fact.
