She looks pretty nice but don't take my word for it I'm still learning.
Hopefully someone else will comment!...

Anyone?

sorry...got distracted...someone texted me from WI and told me they were having northern lights and I ran outside to look...I could actually see them! Only the reds, but still...haven't seen them here since I was a kid

I'm curious how old these are? And are they bantams? I can't quite tell

They are both standards at 5 months old. I had to break out the telescopic lenses as they are not photogenic.

haha too funny. I have some shy birds too. She looks to have a good copper collar...not sure what's goin on with her comb, but gettin a closer photo is probably next to impossible

How many points does she have on her? Ya know...if it were me...I'd probably try to source out a new black copper boy, but that's me...I think it just depends upon whether you plan to work towards the standard or what your end goal is?

wow...the thread's been pretty quiet lately! I was thinking that there was some people that were expecting hatches soon? Maybe they've passed already, I'm not sure, but was wonderin how they all went

Went back to my flash drive and found this close up of Fuzzy Feet. She was foraging under a dead tree, guess there were yummy treats.

That's a cute pic! has her eye color changed yet? It looks like when this pic was taken here eyes were startin to change. The comb doesn't look half bad...

We are not planning on showing her as we don't have the space for a quarantine pen. If she lays true brown eggs we are happy campers.

We are new to SOP, so still learning what to look for.

then this is a great place to start! I think with a nice evenly marked cockerel you will be on the way. I can't tell for sure or not, but it seems she is a bit small...i don't know if it is how she was standing or etc, but if she does run small on the size compared to the BCM SOP then I'd think nice large boy would give you some nice sized offspring
