Don't fret! You never know what might happen. There's been some crazy slow hatchers on this thread before. Just ask Kim!

Oh man! Id feel alittle more excited if there was a pip. On the other hand these 2 crazy chicks have knocked the crap out of the others eggs. They've probably got in position a million times.

Yeah...I hear ya! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the rest of your hatch too

Anna ~ I've had some Marans eggs hatch on day 25, and I think some of Pink's hatched on day 27?? Don't give up hope yet.

Nice coloring on those birds. Looks to me though, that your roo may have a huge side sprig, or even a carnation comb? Not a good thing if you are breeding or selling to those who may want to. Do you have a closer shot of his comb you could post?

Debbi, It would not be as bad if the female had a bad comb also would it. They are so pretty why would a bad comb make a difference ?

Don, you crack me up. I've become such a comb freak that I feel like I am jumping on people all over the place. Yes, the hen's comb isn't quite where it should be either. I don't like to be too critical of anyone's birds if that's not what they are asking for. They are pretty birds, but if folks are intending to breed these birds to sell eggs/chicks to future breeders, then they need to know. I just hate crushing someone's basket all in one blow. I love the color on those birds, just not crazy about the combs...

yippee!!! I'm extra especially living vicariously through your hatch since I'm thinking of maybe ordering some from the same place. I can't wait to see what color eggs they lay...look at me...they aren't even a day old. I'm such a dork

no...what do you do?

Put the eggs in warm water and watch it for like 5min the egg will bob at the slightest movement in the egg.

I could see the principal of it...still hope maybe you'll get another couple of chickers out at least.
