Anna ~ I've never tried the "by the moon phases" hatching, but some old timers swear by it. With my luck, instead of getting a majority of roos, I'd get Werewolves!

Oh, me too! When I was a kid, we, my brother and I, used to use a dog whistle, the silent type, to call bats up! If you ever need some bats to show up, that's the way to do it! Just be prepared for HUNDREDS of them!!!

When Mom saw what we were doing one evening, needless to say, that activity came to a screeching halt! That is, after she quit screeching herself!

For some reason, over the years I became afraid of them. Go figure...maybe it was that more common sense kicked in??

I'm asking about Birchens cuz I scored some chicks on an auction and wondered what they were like. Yes I do know I probably should have checked it all out, but I don't have any and they are rarer. At least that's what Green Fire claims.

Lol I always think I'm in trouble everytime I get drug into the church office and I've never really been in trouble. Bt I have gotten counseled I'm a single mother and all so they think I need alittle more guidence. I have needed a computer for a long time. I can't wait to be able to restart my spread sheets on my Marans breeders. This note book picture thing is quite a lot of work.

Wish I could help you in reguards to your birchens but I'm not on top of that game or any marans game for that matter HAHA! I'm just learning. But vicki and kim got a lot of knowledge on the subject. I Thank God those two are on here!

Thats what everybody says... but I get by fairly well on my own... but could always use a strong arm lol... after all I am a redhead so maybe a firm hand too!!!!
