I'm still thinking about some awesome cuckoo Marans eggs I saw at the Newnan show as well. Until I saw those, I didn't think much of the cuckoo marans eggs. Check them out they are darker than some bcm eggs I've seen. These are not mine but wish they were LOL!

Is anyone using/tried to use community nesting boxes with the blacks? If so, how'd it work?

My semi new coop has a half pipe that's about 4-5ft long its mounted about shoulder height and I put straw in it and my marans love it. All colors bbs sit in it fin together but my girls don't handle the other breeds pooping in it... they are neat freaks.
