Yes, I can't complain about their shank feathering!!!!

These are the 3 Black Coppers - looking like 1 male in front and 2 females behind, I'm thinking.

It is also interesting to note that the ones I'm assuming are females at this point have MUCH heavier leg feathering - one with the short toe. Male in front has the lightest leg feathering by far. (Male's comb is wounded and not funky like it appears in this photo.)

Is it possible to get a photo of the chick in the middle with just the pullet in the back?

I haven't been ignoring you - it's just HARD to work with these Marans. They do NOT like doing the photo-shoots!

Anyway - here are Stumpy and Longtoe (the 2 that I think may be BCM pullets)

Longtoe (with a Cuckoo) - obviously practicing stink eye

Stumpy (with the short outside toe - completely hidden by feathers)

If I'm still not showing what you want to see, let me know and I'll keep trying!!!

That chick sure isn't a Splash, looks more like a Wheaten? Maybe a Wheaten sport popped up in there somewhere?? Your roo looks just like my boy "Pip the impossible"

! Except your boy has better shank feathers. Is he by any chance from Wade Jeane lines?

On the far left is a Cuckoo Marans. And, yes, leg feathering is extremely successful with these Cuckoos. Unfortunately, it looks like I have 2 Cuckoo boys so I'm still on the hunt for a girl!!!!!!!

It looks like the sexlinking may have gone awry with them... He is quite dark... Did you make the bird yourself?

This one is actually the lightest of my 2 Cuckoos so it may be more of a photo issue. I was convinced the other darker bird with the smaller head spot was a female but at 2.5 weeks the comb and wattles are saying otherwise in a BIG way! These birds are not my creation. They are a work in progress from Florida.
