Mine definitely drink AND eat more than the others, but they're also larger/heavier than most of my others other than the Orps and some of the Wyandottes.
But - they also seem to take longer to finish growing and filling out! (and eating everything in sight!)

I think my BLRW love the water the best, as far as playing in it!!
They come running anytime they hear the water run or the hose being drug out!!

My Marans are true water hogs. My, they can go thru it quick!

It's 7 degrees outside right now

in western Pennsylvania.
Finally got an egg from the Sussex yesterday!

, they finally finished their moult.

This definitely is a little cockerel.

edited to add: I have been back to look at him about 5 times now since I posted a response and he looks as though he has duckwing in him, such as Wheatens. Are you sure the parent birds are Blue Coppers?

I was, but I think my girls are on strike b/c the cold!
THEN, last night, I finally got 2 eggs and they froze and split...

So....I think I'm out!
