Ok, are all of you ready for the Big change on Tuesday?? I hate change, but this sounds decent enough to get over it.

Hope it doesn't take me too long to figure it all out. Just when I've got it all down, they, (not just here either!) always want to "change" things up...

I can adapt, I can adapt, I can...

GET A USED BREAD MACHINE IMMEDIATELY ....

You can pick them up ALL DAY LONG for $10 to $15.

I have an awesome recipe for egg bread. I use my bread machine to make the dough. Then I braid the dough, let it rise, and bake it in the oven.
The bread is so good that a Nun would want to sin to get some!

I make cinnamon rasin bread in it. I found the raisins get distributed better if I just use the machine for the dough. Add the rasins by hand and then bake it in the oven.

I do make a plain white bread in the machine from beginning to end

Hmm, I've got one here that my daughter left me. Don't have a clue how to use it. Don't even know if it's all there? May have to hunt down the web site for it and get directions. I love good bread, and you just can't get it out here. Sara Lee can keep her $3.00 half loaf, if I ever figure out how to use this thing!

Our family's favorite bread I make is Jalepeno Cheese Pull Apart Bread. It rarely lasts an hour in our house lol. Its spicy but not too spicy.

Why would you get a bread machine just to mix up bread with? You could get something with other attachments if you don't actually want to bake the bread in the bread machine anyways...

lol

So Lisa, did you get any pics from the show?

You know, I used to buy those years ago! When I was pregnant with my first, I could eat nothing but that bread with butter and honey on it! They were good and easy, but I can't recall ever seeing them in the stupid store down here. May have to look. I would also like to find a source of some different kind of flour, like milo or oat? I believe I am allergic to wheat gluten. I know when I stop eating the wheat bread for a few weeks, I feel so much better.

Send me some close up pics of it . . . Let me see the inside AND let me see the dial settings.
I will walk you through it and you will be making bread in no time.

You will need flour - - All purpose or bread flour and a strip of those yeast packets. Everything else you should have on hand already.
You should be able to find the special flours at your grocery store... The special flours are getting more common with all the allergy problems folks are having
