Good morning all!! Where are the smilies??? Oh no! Must have smilies!! Never mind, the tool bar just now popped up. I'm with you Pink, it is very slow here on my end too. I don't do well with change, my old mind balks every time!

Wow, sure don't like the stuff on the right of the posts!! Very distracting to me! And with the smilies, they have to load every time you want to use them? Not cool...

On the plus side, I did hatch two Silkies! So glad they have each other, the lone hatch thing stinks! Both appear to be Partridge, although I'm thinking the first one is a Splash Partridge! Should be interesting to see how they feather out!

I am trying out Firefox on another page but it does not like my internet provider or my internet provider does not like it.

Boy, those of us on dial-up are really screwed with this new format! It is extremely slow to load everything on the pages, way too busy for me. Where are our pics??

It depends on how well my ladies lay right before I leave for Newnan. If the weather cooperates and the girls are laying, then I will leave the eggs sitting on an egg turner while I am gone and will set them as soon as I walk back in the door. If the girls are slacking due to a nasty cold front like we had a week ago, then I will have to wait and start collecting AGAIN when I get back home.

When the temps dropped below 32 a week ago, I got 6 eggs from 10 hens over a 5 day period! That sucked!

I have been getting 0 from my girls. I thought they would just keep laying since they just started... guess they showed me.

56 minutes to get to this point and make 4 posts. ARGH!!!!! Cleared my cookies and cleaned that stuff out. See no difference. Maybe it is all the graphics and photos that have to open and my lovely dial up does not like it. Reminds me of trying to work with my website which when I do is an all day thing. Guess this is one way to get me to slow down on posting and quiet my unrelated gab that does not pertain to Marans.

Try looking in the insert picture icon in the tool bar just above the reply box when the editor finally pops up for you Debbi, this is just a guess as I can't open it on my end it says there was an error. My BYC time is over this morning......................................wahhhh wahhhh wahhhhh Have a good day all and I will try to see ya later

Try google chrome. I hate Firefox and won't use it. We have chrome on the desktop and I know some people who have lower speed internet and it works for them. It sucks when you have few options for internet. Been there! Here we have more options but it costs big $$

When you hit reply and the box comes up there is a smile face on the right top bar. Click on it and it will open a mini window and you can pick a smiley.
