I had to re-look at that pic too! That's an "Ella" butt! Some times with my Silkies, it's hard to tell which end I'm looking at too!

I do miss my little white Silkie roo...Q -tip. I miss his crow most of all and of course his Silkie attitude.

You and me both!! I think I've already had the lion's share of these funky things!!! All of these boys have a really nice wing carriage that would help the girls here. Hopefully, Pekker's comb will hold together, but I will count him as a "carrier" for sure! It's so sad to have otherwise nice looking birds, and then THE COMB!!!

I do like the blue.

So far, so good with the test matings of Lil Bill to the 5 girls he is in with and the eggs that have hatched ...now if I can get eggs from every girl in that pen to hatch and see what they all throw that would be swell. Time will tell.

I knew you were just playin with me Debbi. It's all good and it was very funny!

Well I suppose I should actually get something done today and quit watching the 'bator...but the problem with the 'bator is that great big clear acrylic door that allows for great viewing. Geesh! Why did they make them with this particular door?

DH is thrilled that I am on 'bator watch right now....he thinks the more the 'bator ties up my time, the less likely I will get around to taking the clear space in his shop to set up lights and shelving for starting seeds for the veg. gardens...... all I have to say is...................it's pretty cute that he thinks that.

I'm still trying to understand the carnation thing. It is the tiny oddity located at the very far end of Soup's comb?

Math Ace , can you point it out???

I'm not Math Ace but took liberties in marking it for you. The oddity you speak of is 2 sprigs located at the blade of the comb and one sprig comes out on either side symetrically.
