Hey Debbi! Are you supposed to get more snow tomorrow? They are talking about us in for another storm. I'm seriously praying its not that bad. I just need to get past this hatch!

Well I got them downloaded thought that when you clicked them they would get larger....I have pictures from the Stockton show too let me try and figure it out I have to go to town right now....grrr this new stuff is just killing me

Yeah!!!! The new camera came today!! Hope I didn't get in over my head, it is waaaaay more camera than I had before! It will take me many days to figure this thing out. Of course they don't tell you it doesn't come with a memory card!!

Tried to use my old one from the other camera, but it keeps telling me the memory is full. So, went to put it back into the old camera to delete pics, and the batteries are dead! Charging now so I can delete pics from card, and hope that it works in the new camera! Always something...

Nope! All our snow just about melted off today, and tonight they are calling for thunder storms, some on and off tomorrow too. All the sissy chickens were glad when I moved the truck, and they had some bare ground to look at!

Boy, they HATE the snow!

Yes, the camera has a lot of stuff on it that has the same settings as my old one, and I did try a super macro pic (to see it on the LCD screen anyway), and it looked like it will fit the bill! If it gets nice tomorrow, and my old SD card works, I'll be taking some fancy chicken pics with the 18X zoom!!

I'll have an update on eggs in the bator tonight after it gets dark. I figure if I candle tonight and write down what I have left and move them into little grouping in the egg trays, then in the morning when I get hatcher ready I can get the dividers in the trays ready to go for the groupings. Then I'll move them over tomorrow night. This way my eggs don't spend too much time outside of the incubator at one given time and I don't try to rush and accidentally drop any eggs. I've done that...and made me so stinking sad!

Oh, dropping the eggs always worries me during candling! I used to never candle, now I do it twice before lockdown. Need to get my bator cleaned and sterilized for Wynette's eggs!!

Hey Kim! As soon as I get this new camera figured out and geared up, I wll post you some pics of Olivia and Bad Charlotte! Olivia's eyes are starting to lighten up finally, and are a very deep orange color now. Love her bigness too, and she does have feathered shanks, and a decent comb!! Charlotte's coloring reminds me of a patchwork quilt. Some leakage and almost Splash looking colors in there. And yes, she is still BAD! She makes me come get her EVERY night!!!

She is also quite lovely and plump, although she lost all of her shank feathers? Neither one of them has molted yet, so maybe they'll come back? Both of them are very typey, and come spring will be set up with either Roy or Clyde. Right now, I'm favoring Roy for them! He is more their type...and mine.
