and did not see a breeder's directory on the home page.
Would you check for me OR send me a link to the page that has the directory on it ? ? ?
The MOA Club used to have a breeder's directory. I went there today and couldn't find it? I don't belong to the other club any more.

I think that I remember seeing "want to buy" posts mixed in the BST sections....so you kind of have to hunt for them. Are you looking for something?

Yes, eventually I need a couple of good Showgirl cockerels or roos! Scratch that, want a couple...no one NEEDS one!

So if you had a group of chicks from the same hatch and a couple of the cockerels had comb issues- 1 with caranation comb of some form and 1 with a wave in the beginning of the comb both of which would be culled, would you still take a chance and mate the ones left together, which would be 2 pair and see what develops?

Hens, unless you want to test hatch the balance of the hatch and there is one with Carnation type Penne comb I would cull all the group. The wavy comb could still be used if need be. With all the combs type problems showing up it is time to start test mating all the Marans before putting in breeding pens.

that's right! I don't think you would go too wrong with what i've seen to keep him and the one boy I like a lot that I'll email you about...and then there are two others you could probably pick from to keep as a backup, but none of the others so far have really popped out at me.

Just cull the fowl that needs to be culled, to start you can breed as many pair as you would like. Just keep records and you can breed them several different ways.
