I just want to verify what I have read, we do not hatch pullet eggs right? All the info I find says to not hatch from pullet eggs. I can see not hatching those first tiny ones but can I really not use their eggs until they are 1 year old? That is when they are not a pullet anymore right? I was thinking I could get three generations in 2 years but maybe not?
What is everyone else's thoughts on this?

I hatch pullets all the time...in fact I don't have any hens yet... in a month or two I will but not yet. I recommend waiting till they are nearly a normal size though.

it depends on the breed for me....some are much slower growing, like my sussex. i usually start hatching from pullets when they are over 8 months or so....and mostly that has to do with me cullin down and givin my girls left time to fill out so i really see what have

APA judge, Troy Laroche said he hatches pullet eggs. Just make sure to keep notes.
