haha you aren't a yokel...most people don't know what a Kohlrabi is. Its in the cole crop family. More specifically the cabbage family and has kind of the look of a turnip, sort of but is grown above ground and is not a root veggie. raw in salads or etc, and cooked we eat them in soups, by themselves cut up and etc...its pretty versatile
yup...that's my favorite way to eat it!
you should be able to pick up about anywhere that has a decent size garden section....I usually wait til the end of the season and then hit up places like home depot, lowes and etc and they have it on clearance for cheap and I just store it for the next year. works pretty well
yeah. walmart usually has some and I've bought it at Orschlen's in the past too, so any of those should be good to tryCool! Wally World ought to carry it, maybe? If not, maybe the Do-it-Center or Orschlen's may have it. I see yet another work project in the making....
