Ahhh, ok, I see that now! Thanks Donnna and Slick! it's a wonder I can think at all, it is 91* in my house right now, with NO breeze outside, and high humidity! I am so ready for some storms, and I thought I would NEVER say that!!!

Just wanted to say ya'll are a good group of people

Hooray!! We had a huge storm come through last night and finally got the much needed rain! Lots of it too! Nice and cool this morning as well..... everything already looks greener out there. The weather did however make the humidity in the house go up, as well as the incubator. Should I be overly concerned? The marans eggs under the broody hen have to deal with it too..... except she can't make the adjustments like I can.

Glad someone is getting some rain! Another 100* day here today, and we lost our chance for rain tomorrow, but Thurs. and Sunday there are some slim chances. People's ponds are now drying up. The one next to my place has receded about 10 feet or so. Next it will be wells drying up, this has been an ugly summer here.

I hear ya Debbi...have no idea when we are supposed to even get a chance of rain. 103 today, so I'll be spending my day off changing water and adding my frozen water bottles inbetween to keep it cool. Have a couple of hens that have developed the raspy noise when they breathe...this heat I'm afraid might do them in. Electrolytes and more watermelon will be in order for the day. I just pray I don't lose them
