send her here - she's just what I need! haha

Going to work on roo pics today and I'll get some of those breeder cages!
sounds good! Can't wait to see what you are working on! Just sent you a PM. I'll be working outside today as well, sorting birds and if I have time, I'll get some shots of the younger birds. Some of them are picked on....so aren't super pretty, but type wise and color I'm liking them lots.

Great!

Keep showing us the direction we're supposed to be headed in!

Pics of the youngsters would be VERY helpful for me!

haha...I don't know all the answers or anything. I'm just working on the stock I've got at hand and do what I can to help out others. This is why I like this forum, there's lots of viewpoints and experience with different stock and things people have tried.

I'll see what I can do about the pics. I'm waiting for some help to come over so I can have a hand catching them up faster. Then after I sort them, I'll get some pics for you.

Congrats, Clown!

Alright....taking a break from the sorting. I have them separated in holding pens and looks like I've got a nice mix, but I think both they and I need to cool down! In all for marans I'll have about 35 to 37 to sort. Not bad since that's all I have left from my last two hatches of the year. Good coloring on both the cockerels and a nice amount of the pullets as well!

Can't wait to see them! Too hot here for much of anything at 104!

I hear ya...its about 99 here, so I'm still working, but not without sweating like crazy.
I'll see what I can do for photos, they might have to come over the next few days since I'm moving a bunch of other birds around as well now to be able to run all of these together. I think in the long run it they and I will be better off!

Well, don't over do it gal, for your sake and the chooks! I need to go out to do water again, and retrieve a black Silkie pullet from the Partridge pen. Always has to be one escape artist, and she is insistant on being with the Partridge family!

I even found her sitting up in my chair in their run the other day, that was a first for any of my Silkies!
