Kim, That is great that the male is out of BluecopperS. That should be a great mating. Folks should look at the black on this male so they know what black should look like on a Black and Blue Copper. Did you get a chance to look at the male in post 41983.

Hey Don, I know we have discussed the shade of blue and etc for the blues, such as being a medium blue for the show floor as they are received better than too light or too dark (which I 100% agree with from personal experience), but my question is related to the tone of the birds of mine that are blue as far as tone wise in relation to what you were going to post about the blue coppers? I don't even know if my question will make any sense since I'm not sure what you will post on, but would love to see what you have to say.

Debbi I think I can work with the black too since my ORIGINAL hens are all black. I have several pullet this year with copper hackles BUT they came from my roo that died. I am hoping I have a young roo with similar colors to work on the copper in the pullets.... That was my BIG plan this year.... copper pullets from that roo

I will get there again.

I am hatching all the eggs and I am hoping that I will get a really nice JUNIOR from him over one of the pullets with copper. I almost thought that was TOO much Him over Coppered pullets.... You know TOO much of a good thing.

LET me ask a totally OFF TOPIC question here....

My head kills me after I've been on the computer for a couple of hours. I swear it is from these Dang Bifocals. Anybody else have troubles using the computer with bifocals on?

PLEASE, tell me I am NOT the only one wearing bifocals!

What is it with all these girls on strike?? Seems the 2 eggs I got the other day were more than likely both laid by Olivia, and she had hidden one. Today she laid another, but after her molt, they are not the nice round and ruby eggs that they were before. Does she have to build back up to that, or is she waning already?

Well that little stinker! I don't know why she is laying a different shaped egg.....maybe it's because she is from the biggest egghead of all.......Bill? Or is she not from Bill? Can't remember, sorry.

WHAT EVER! I have it enlarged to 125% .... I can see it fine. However, I think my eyes just can't get the hang of looking down for the computer and then up for the TV... I think it is just too much for my eyes and it makes me have a headache.... OTHER WISE, my head hurts from reading all the BS some folks keep posting on here.
