Do any of you ever have any luck candling your black marans eggs? I'm incubating some and only can tell if it's clear or a blob. But the blobs are growing do that's good haha. I can see the air sacs too.

Was it on this thread that someone posted a chart, "80 Ways to Toe Mark Chicks"? I thought I saved it to a personal file but when I try to bring it up, it doesn't work. So I need to find the page again and print from there. Will someone repost this please, or tell me on what page to find it? I thought it was here, but it could have been on the Large Heritage Fowl Thread. I found the one toe punch chart with 16 combinations, now looking for that other one that included the slits as well as the holes. Thank you

I use a med. size meg light. Seems to light er up pretty good.

Hubba Hubba is right Keara! Boy he sure is a chunker! LOVE IT!
Raven~ I like his nice long back and his size of course. Do you have a top view of him? Wondering if he is as wide as he is long
I will see if I can get a top shot of him this weekend.


Solid Splash Eggs showed up right on time today! YIPPEE! They are lovely! Camera batteries of course are dead so photo of them tomorrow before they go in to the 'batror. One has a smash but it did not break through the inner membrane. I'm going to scotch tape it and see what happens! Thanks again and I will be sure to update you!
