Keep in mind we were talking about shipping eggs in chick boxes so no need for the pads. I think shipping was about $7-8 for the boxes so that would bring it up to about $3 each...... doable for shipping a few eggs.

Oh...yeah..I was focused on the fact that I need more chick boxes for shipping chicks, not eggs

That is a BIG expense in WA from what I heard. You have to pay a vet and pay per test or something crazy like that.

Hi all! I am kind of confused on my black and blue copper marans chicks I hatched. I can tell for sure 1 is black and maybe 2 blues? They don't look alot alike. Any opinions?

1 of my blacks just for reference.

Pretty sure this is a blue. Much lighter than the black.

then there's this one. A little lighter than the blue with yellow markings on the head.

I have never seen white of that extent on a purebred Marans chick. Ever. DMRippy, have you?

I love his heavy white eyebrows! They are adorable.
