Not to worry though Kathy, I will only use a couple of them for testing then they will get the chance to clear out that rooster juice and I will put them back with their boys, but I have several months before I can try as they are only 3.5 weeks old and wonderful by the way!

For now I don't have any new roos to test out as the ones from GFF are not of any use to me so I will be sticking with the old tried and true boys Gnarles and Bill.

Hope ya'll will forgive me, Marans are a new thing for me and i'm learning every day. I'd like to start with a small flock and mainly raise them for the beautiful eggs, followed by breeding well enough to sell good hatching eggs. Genetics and I are not friends, so it's a challenge. Thanks for your patience!
 
Precious pullet is back to normal and back outside with her buddies!
