I don't have any GC eggs yet. All my females are pullets that should lay anytime now. I have one male that is older but the rest of the flock from a different breeder/set of eggs is just approaching POL. You might try pasofinofarms, I belive she has golden cuckoos still. I don't know who else does right now.

Shelly..I am not sure what to say... The chick is cute but what is it??? It isn't BCM...nope!!! Are you breeding for fun??? or egg color or ??? Thanks for posting the pics..I just don't know what you are asking.

Shelly ~ Are you sure there wasn't another breed in the mix? It looks, on my monitor, like the baby has yellow legs? That is not a Marans trait.

I do have a few other roosters in the pen, though they are all OEGB. None of them have yellow legs, so I don't know where this came from. The only yellow-legged birds in the pen are some bantam cochins, and they're girls.

Nope... No marans have yellow legs... sorry... sounds like a cochin cross to me.

I recind that last statement...Not cochin..No feathers... not pure marans.. the males look suspicious to me also.
