Thanks for this post. I always felt my chart (even though I ordered it from the club website) was not true to other charts I have seen.Just wanted to add- we purchased this exact chart too.... See the hazy grayish cast on the tops of eggs 1, 2, and 3? (It is on other eggs on that chart as well, but these are the easiest to spot.)
This means this chart is a color copy of the French version, and was not calibrated at a professional printer's for color. So, this particular version is not a reliable representation of colors. (Husband's a professional graphic artist...he knows.) Not color calibrated= worthless. When we asked them about this issue, they said they printed at Staples.
There is a chart out there that is brought to a professional printer, and egg colors are approved by Bev, herself so there is consistency between printings. It's the chart that you get when joining the chicken club. Just ask when purchasing if the chart you're to purchase is a color copy of the French chart. There is a huge quality difference.
