DMRippy, I love the lacing on your avatar. What bird is it? Mybyoungest son wants a Buff Laced Brahma. I hope that I was saying it correctly. But that lacing in your pic is gorgeous. I think that he would like it. And it would look nice with his Blue Cochin, Amici Mei. I am having trouble finding him the Brahma and my husband has pushed the search to next spring anyway. So I have time to shop around.

When you cross a straight comb and a pea comb you get a weird looking comb..... kind of a hybrid. The pea comb is dominate but because they just have one copy the comb looks off.

He has the Ameracauna beard and a pea-ish comb. Looks like someones attempt at an olive egger to me. Or possibly an Easter Egger. Easter Eggers can have pea combs, but not always because they're mutts. If he's an Olive Egger there's a good chance there's some Marans in him.

Is this cock/erel a splash Marans, or a splash copper Marans, or ?? I don't see any shank/toe feathering or any copper on him.
