I took some pictures of the chickens over the weekend and thought that I would share them. They are NOT professional pictures, but I just wanted to share my kids with you all!

The first picture is a blue copper pullet that I bought from Pinkchick...I believe that she is about 4.5 months old or so. She normally carries her tail a little higher, its hard to get pictures when they are loose on 12 acres!

second is the blue copper cockeral from pinkchick, he is 4.5 months as well. He is molting, so he looks shabby! He is still coloring out.

here he is hunting for the grass seed that my husband just planted! OOps!

and here are some pictures of the Golden Cuckoo flock in the yard!

Thanks, I like my golden cuckoos! Even if they are a work in progress they are beautiful anyhow! I cheated adn bought them grown so I didnt have to wait for them to grow!

No, they havent started laying yet that I know of. They have been out during the day but I have yet to see any eggs. We have only had them just 2 weeks, so I suspect anytime! I will let you know!

i had a bad feeling they were! i live in town and cant have roosters so i bought two chicks in hopes i would get two hens! looks like that didnt workout!

Well I think they are both boys too sorry you live where it's possible to find some pullets though I'd wait to but them after 6 to 8 weeks easier to tell
