Can't believe none of ya all commented on Techno Chicken... Wow.. Okay last chance... Here is some music to critque by... Yep your right... It's just killen me!!! lol

These pictures are of the same pullet.. Born with mossiness and white feathers... This bird is white feather and mossy free now... I just thought since I had such a good illistration I would post it so you can see first hand.

Oh and so you know... the dates in the picture are inverted... the day is first and the month is second... Really I should fix that...but I just keep forgetting to.. the Date are accurate, however.

Good morning Geebs!

She's such a pretty girl, glad she turned out nice! I've never had the mossy till now, and of course it would be a pullet. She also has white wing feathers, so your girl gives me hope for her! Funny thing is, the only mossy she has is just on one side (her left) of her breast. Does the mossy expand and get worse before it gets better, or is this all she will have? She's just a little over 4 weeks.

I saved a brown rooster just to watch him mature... I will post his picture later....It is the only reason I kept him... Just to watch that gene(s). It is like ink running into the feathers for both the white feathers and the mossy... It just "blooms" into black instead of brown mossy and white... I posted some pix a while back of this phenomenon in action.

Splash can have either leg color blue or white.....but it has been my experience that the splash normally get the white legs. I have been able to produce one splash bird with blue legs EVER and I can't remember what birds I crossed to get her....my bad I didn't write it down.


ETA: O-O-O Just remembered......she was an experiment produced with one of my Davis blue copper hens and my very dark blue copper roo. She was a cull as she ended up with very dark eyes and I didn't care for her type.
