All of my BCMs are from Kelvin Jeane's original 20 hens. I have never mixed my line. By the way, they are all starting to lay pretty well so I should be able to get egg orders out soon.

He's working on it, trust me.......before we know it Mr. Mel is going to have chicks hatching and coming out of his ears.

It's a waste of feed, but if I'm going to eat it....it's going to be worth it, but any cockerel that we process here is always over 6 months old. We have processed a few males younger than that and they seemed pretty scrawny. Marans cockerels dress out very nice at approx. 6 mos or so.
