Hmmm, seems the "edit" portion of posting is not working this morning?? I tried to edit my last post with the following:

Edited to say: I am not a doctor, nor have I ever played one on TV

I gotta figure out a time to shut off my incubator so I can make the window bigger on my door. I feel like a crazy lady checking every five minutes to see what the temps are and how the humidity levels are...and to pace back and forth and tap on the side to hear the babies inside respond. I've got a bit of a pattern down now tho....to where I can tell pretty much when hatching is done...the humidity will spike when the chicks are hatching and when it finally goes back down to normal and holds there for a length of time...I know its safe to take them out. But, boy do I wish I had a clear door so I didn't have to guess.... it'll have to wait tho...I got a couple more batches in the incubator cookin

Thanks Jennifer! Congrats on your new baby too! If your baby is having a hard time sleeping through the night, which my daughter sure did, try feeding a bit of very diluted (with whatever milk/formula you use) baby cereal for his last meal before laying him down. I poo-pooed it because the docs did, but after a month of her not going to sleep, I tried it, and it worked like a charm. The old wives tales are there because they DO come from old wives, and are usually tried and true!

Good luck on your hatch too!!

LOL Debbi that is so true. I loved the way you worded that. Thank you. It's funny you mention this and just conformation this is what I need to do. I've only breastfed, but I was just talking to DH about that last night. Someone gave me a very expensive breast pump when I had my third child and it's just been sitting gathering dust. I was thinking of maybe using it just for the baby's last feeding and adding a little cereal to it. I had a feeling this was going to happen. When I was pregnant, she was up and moving about all night and seemed to sleep all day.
