Hi All, anyone want to see some of my operation go to the Wheaten thread as I finally got the plastic off the building fronts and got a few pictures.

Go take a lookie loo......very impressive!

I went to look at my blue copper pullet's tail...It's distinctively upside down "V" shaped. Is there a chance that I'm looking at it too soon and it might change after her next molt? Or is this pretty much the shape it'll be? Will it open up more, is what I mean. She's 12-13 weeks old.

She is still too young to tell and unless the tail is pinched nothing to worry about . There is nothing in the standard unless she is pinched.

Sherman now finds himself leading SIX ladies!! We integrated the EEs into his little flock tonight. We let the Marans free range and introduced the EEs outside. We brought Miss Blue, the queen EE first. He promptly bred her twice!! Then he had to pant and air out his wings for a minute.

Miss Blue was suddenly entirely devoted to him. She was the first responder to the "FOOD!" call after that. She and the blue Marans girl did have it out but Sherman broke it up. He was a bit overwhelmed by the third EE and just put everyone to bed.

He is such a good rooster.

Now I'll be getting a breeding pair of Silver Spangled Hamburgs in the next couple of days.

Chicken math. I haz it!

Anyone hear from Debbi today?

I know that she is east of Joplin, MO a ways, but the bad weather just keeps rolling in. I was just wondering...been kind of watching for her on the thread today, but haven't seen her. Sure hope all is well. Sounds like another round of storms down that way again tomorrow night

Thank you for missing me! I'm fine thankfully. Please send up your prayers for the folks of Joplin, they have been devastated. We had storms all day here yesterday, and I won't get on the internet when it storms. More storms are headed this way today, tonight, and tomorrow. This has been the worst spring I can remember! Hope all other BYCers in MO fared well.
