Friends, I apologize if this has been posted already (I'm WAY WAY behind in my reading!!!) - if it has, please PM me and I'll delete the post. For those of you attending Crossroads, here is what's happening via MCCUSA:
Friends and fellow Marans Lovers,
Wow another 6 days and we will be gathering at the Crossroads show taking place October 28th-30th, 2011. The MCC USA club members and other marans lovers will once again join efforts in trying to gain recognition for another marans variety; wheaten.
Since our last communication, the Crossroads show organizers shared with us that 90 wheaten marans have been officially entered into the show. With marans popularity growing, we are anticipating a great turnout of marans with another 10 marans varieties being represented at the event. Youre sure to find a particular variety you may favor. Additional details and activities are listed below.
Marans Presentations The MCC USA Standards and Show committees have planned two presentations. The first is a presentation on the marans general standard. The second presentation will review the Blue Copper and Cuckoo varieties and proposed standards.
