Awesome! Altitude is too low for Yaks tho...they will get pneumonia. I hold a note for $100,000.00 that comes due next August. What kinda' farm can we get with that? Oh. yea...I still have my log house on the river and this 3 acres too.....

Seriously tho...do you mean where you are Yaks will get pneumonia at lower altitudes? Here in Nebraska there is one of the largest Yak herds in the US...

I did however, give the Marans and Silkies a pumpkin today! Boy that is fun to watch!!

My chickens are pansys I gav them pumpkin today (got like 11 whole pumpkins from church folks yesterday *they know I have chickens* these crazy chickens didn't touch it!

my chickens love the pumpkin much more in a mash. I just take the pumpkin and shred it in my food processor then mix it in with some layer and a bit of warm water and quite a bit of other things like dried fruits, or cut up apple...whatever I happen to have on hand...it doesn't last long around here at all....they will literally try to mob me when I come into the pens.
