I'm also trying to recall what that one Splash chick did with her leg when I had that problem. Seems she held it out to the side, and ended up with a dislocated femur. Had to cull it, as nothing helped and she was in pain. I'll have to go check chick pics to see if I remember that right. I'd let it get it's bearings first, and watch how your chick uses it before putting on the vet wrap. So far, I've only had one I had to brace, and that was a splayed Silkie. Man, talk about a time getting the brace on that little squirmy!
