Afternoon all

took awhile to get all the reading done here! Lots of great laughs today, stuck at home in the office doing paperwork

DH's powersteering pump went out on his truck so he took my car to work today, hopefully he'll get it put back together tonight

The only picture I have BEFORE molt had only a tiny bit of white in it. I had a computer crash about a year ago and I wasn't able to restore all the photos.
I lost the ones of that bird when he was younger and the wing feather that was mostly white.

LOL, I do have baby son on my property. Odds are that in a month or two he will have a proud white feather for me to snap a picture of.
I have some really nice crooked toe pics that I need to take too. Plus, the thumbprint comb.

We have had some nasty weather the last few days , so I haven't been able to get out and get some pics.
I think tomorrow it is suppose to dry out and be sunny, so I will try then to get all the faults and DQ ( LOL) that I have in my flock documented for the project.

You live on the East Coast and I live just over the hill from the source of those eggs.

I have a hen that is 1.5 yr old that has white in the wing tip still. I will snap that photo for you this afternoon when I do chores.

yay! im glad i'm not the only one to think earrings out of spurs is a good idea. I have some whoppers I harvested from an old english roo that was ancient...at least 9 years old as far as we could remember. I'll have to find them in the piles of jewelry making stuff and see what I can do with them.

Thanks for reminding me!

Maybe I'll make a pokey stick, so Mel can get poked just UNDER the hill!
He steals my QUOTE, he steals pink's EGGS, and acts all INNOCENT

And now he pokes fun at me.

I was not aware that the dry eggs just got darker with age? That is an interesting phenomenon. Mel, buddy, your a funny dude! But $50 bones is almost the going rate for non-quality eggs. I know I have already been BAMBOOZLED. As the say in Tijuana, "for you my friend, I have da special price" of $50 for 1/2 dozen :-)

Now to replace these Cuckoo Marans look-a-likes!
