Yes, I'm going to sell out of the White Silkies. He is a nice boy, lots of substance and a nice short body, and a dark comb, good eye! I have another white boy that's pet quality, and one white pullet. She's decent enough quality to be a breeder. I like the BBS and the Partridges the best. Paints, hmm, I can wait till the spots get better and the prices come down! Salmons and Greys are very interesting to me.

And I want a Showgirl (hom.) roo for next year too!!

I really like the splashes as well. I have one female and one male. My female is just a fat chunker. She is kinda snotty she will come up to get petted and then when I stop she bites me..terd! One of the partridges started doing it as well after she saw the other girl doing it lol. I didn't think I would like the splash silkies as much as I do. They look soooo much better in real life than they do in pics! I really like my little buff girl, Tater Tots, as well. She is my favorite so far.

I only have one little biter, and that is my Buff girl. She is fine as long as no one squeals when I pick them up. If they do, she comes and pecks my hands or feet!

I find it quite comical after contending with 10# snotty roos, with Pip and Blue Butt!!

Haha I just love those little mice I have some rubber stamp things with those kind of little mice on them. I used to collect them.

Today me and dh both actually have a day off together! We are going to work on those breeding coop doors. One of the wood businesses are going out of business so I am hoping to get some cheap roll roofing! I still gotta paint and get some spray foam or caulking for in between the old tongue and groove stuff I got from an old torn down house that I used for the back walls.

Sounds like a good day off plan. As wet and soggy as it is here, I've been thinking about digging the holes for the posts I will be setting for the new run next spring. When we built this run, the John Deere with the post hole digger had mega problems in the summer. The dirt gets like concrete! I'd have to cover them up so no one falls in, and so they don't flood and collapse. Maybe filling them with rocks would be better??

Oh I know, the silkies, especially the little roos who think they are hot stuff are the little Chihuahuas of the chicken world.

I have one little guy who fence fights with one of the older Marans cockerels. He's serious as a heart attack; the Marans just look at him like, WTH???
