Look what I found in the two coops today!! Almost didn't see the Marans egg, she tried to bury it.

The others are Silkie eggs, and one looks like a new layer to me. I had read on another thread, that some folks swear by feeding alfalfa to hens that quit laying. While there was no square bales to be had around here, I bought some rabbit pellets that have it in them. Within 2 days of feeding, I got these! These Silkie eggs are pretty good sized for bantams, the Marans egg is an ex-large for comparison. Good girls!! Get going Marans ladies, get going!!

No...he's not sleepy that is what he does everytime I pick him up.

Congratulations on the eggies Debbi...looks like you are going to have to keep that 'bator going.

Pretty Marans egg....I got one today that looks just like it, complete with speckles.
