Math Ace~

Photo for the wrong eye color. This pullet is soooooo dark her feet almost match her body color. She is is the last daughter of Gnarles crossed to one of the BCM's, she ended up with an okay comb, not perfect, but not carnation. Despite her dark eyes, I have her in with Bill, Sr. to see what happens to eye color in the offspring. I usually get good results out of Bill for eye color. She has not started laying yet but has finally started pinking up in the comb.

haha it only took hours to get it to work....after about 20 tries and seein the internet truck go by i gave up. still havin trouble loadin bigger pics but im gettin there. i will hopefully get better pics tomorrow. it was so windy that the birds look ridiculous with hackles and everything else flying in the wind

Yes, it was kind of windy here and dank this morning; but the sun came out, the wind quit, and it turned into a nice day. All the boys calmed down too, and everyone, (except Dopey), went to their designated areas tonight with no muss/no fuss!

White in the wing.

This pullet is 1.5 years old and the white in this feather has not changed and she is the first BCM pullet to just finish her molt. 2 others are currently about 1/2 way through. I would have expected this to change by now if it was going to. Regardless, she will not be used for breeding.

No Problem, I will get busy tomorrow morning with the arrows.
At the same time, I can find that other photo that I saved with the arrows on the comb.

It has been a BUSY day and yet, I feel like I got nothing done.

I tried to weigh Cracker and her sister today. The hid under the coop and I couldn't get them LOL
Those two were the only two out of 38 birds that I wasn't able to weigh today. BAD GIRLS!
I spent the day weighing and tagging potential breeders for my Spring hatch.

At the end of the day, I have NOTHING to show for my work except a sheet fulle of notes!
