Check this out what a crock of you know what! something wants in my coop bad! and the crazy part is about 6mls away there was a mountain lion sighting. I hate the thought of a mountain lion doing this so im going to say it was a crazy racoon.

yikes lady!!! whatever it was, it must have been hungry and determined!

That chicken wire is not going to stop them if they come back. You have traps out don't you?
 
It keeps coming back and it just tears through whatever i put back on it.... some point when this wind stops blowing Im going to put some sheet metal on there

None of them would admit to knowing me at that point - although I DID start getting a TON of suggestions about fabrics and patterns they wanted to see!!!
 
Yikes! Do you hear when it's out there, or just find the coop torn up in the morning? Sounds like it might be time for sniper watch with a 22 or shotgun, lol. Whatever that is has got to be pretty strong, and DETERMINED

I guess we're blessed with two very loud (read- annoying barking and chasing everything drive you nuts loud :D ) Australian Shepherds, however, not much gets past them. If there's something out there, they let us know, and they've killed two coons already in the past 6 months or so, and there's been many a night when they bark all night long with charges out through the woods. Course when you live in the country stuff IS out there, lol. (mostly coons, 'possums, foxes, and bobcats around here)

Off to work in a few, but just had to stop in and say hey. We're lookin at a balmy high of 17 for the day....I bet the birds are not gonna be too excited about that! So, I'll be stickin to places where its warm for the day! brrrrrr
